He or she will represent Malaysia at the world awards programme, where the best entrepreneurs in the world compete for the Ernst & Young World Entrepreneur of the Year Award at Monte Carlo in May 2010.
"The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Award programme is established as the most prestigious global business award in the world. It is unlike most business awards held in Malaysia as this award programme provides the Malaysian entrepreneur with a springboard to a global business platform. By being part of the programme, these Malaysian entrepreneurs are exposed to hundreds of entrepreneurs - the world's "change-makers' - for learning, networking and inspiration as well as providing them with valuable exposure, recognition and networking opportunities with other entrepreneurs in the world," said Mr See.
"We want our Malaysian entrepreneurs to be given such exposure and opportunities. We highly encourage the best entrepreneurs in Malaysia to step forward as outstanding entrepreneurial role models and take up the challenge to make Malaysia proud at the next world awards," said See.
